Looking at the Mediterranean

an exhibition between contemplation and awareness

The Mediterranean is a space of life, memory, and transmission. It connects peoples, cultures, and landscapes. It is also one of the richest, yet most vulnerable, marine ecosystems in the world.
Through this exhibition, Anna Bellazini offers an invitation to slow down our gaze and rediscover the beauty of the living world.
Octopuses, fish, seashells, deep waters, marine movements, and Mediterranean lights compose an artistic journey that celebrates the richness of this universe while reminding us of its fragility.
Each work bears witness to a deep bond between humans and the sea. Intense colors, expressive lines, and the energy of the brushstrokes translate a sensitive vision of the Mediterranean, where wonder and responsibility meet.

When art meets commitment to the sea

This exhibition is presented in partnership with Team AVA (Friends of the Vallon des Auffes), an association that actively participates in the preservation and revitalization of the site through environmental awareness campaigns, nautical activities, and regular coastal cleanup operations.
In this context, the exhibition takes on a special dimension. Without adopting a militant tone, Anna Bellazini uses art as a vehicle for awareness, inviting the public to take a different look at the Mediterranean.
Through the beauty of the forms, colors, and species represented, the artist reminds us how much this natural heritage is an integral part of Mediterranean culture and how much it deserves to be preserved.
